Miss Kauai Margareta Oppenheimer represented Capelle & Partner in the 2014 National Beauty Pageant held earlier in the year in conjunction with Nauru’s 46th Anniversary of Independence. From a strong field of contenders Kauai was crowned Miss Nauru and Miss Independence 2014 following an extremely close fought and successful contest. She also took home the Miss People’s Choice, Miss Sarong and Miss Photogenic awards.
Miss Oppenheimer went on to conduct charity fundraisers throughout the year and donated the proceeds to various projects in Infant schools around Nauru. Miss Oppenheimer visited the different schools on the island encouraging students to strive in education. As Miss Nauru, her campaign has been ‘Education is the key to opportunities in life. In all things give your best, always taking pride in who you are!’
Miss Oppenheimer also donated a new and informative Danger warning sign at the notorious ‘Gabab Channel’ a popular swimming spot with Nauruans. The donation was made possible by sponsorship's received from various supporters of Miss Nauru’s campaign in 2014, of whom Capelle & Partner is proud to be the major one.
Capelle & Partner is fortunate to be represented by Miss Oppenheimer and to be part of her campaign as Miss Nauru in 2014. She will now be attending the Miss Pacific Islands Contest 2014 as Nauru’s representative. Capelle & Partner is thrilled and honoured to support her in this endeavour and to make this contribution in representation of Nauru at such a prominent regional event.
